A Zeeman Company is a family-owned insurance agency that was founded in New York City in 1940.
The agency handles almost all lines of personal and business insurance ranging from apartment insurance to coverage for high value homes and small businesses to much larger firms. We handle not only the main types of insurance such as property and personal or commercial liability coverage but also specialty lines that are often needed such as professional liability, employment practices liability, directors and officers liability and even kidnap and ransom insurance. We also write group health insurance along with life, disability and long term care insurance and are licensed to write insurance in many States. Thus, we are usually able to handle ALL the insurance needs of our clients.
Our aim is to provide well-priced insurance with reputable and financially sound insurance companies, and to make the process as easy and understandable as possible. Continuing service to our clients is our top priority and we respond quickly to questions from clients, providing assistance with claims, promptly issuing certificates of insurance, reports, insurance ID cards and other needed documents.
Our Principals
Our principals are Ronald Altman and James Altman both of whom have over 30 years experience. Our staff employees average over 15 years of experience.
Our success is driven by our client's success and we have been fortunate to do business with many successful businesses and individuals. We believe our help in managing their risks and protecting their exposure thru a sound insurance program has provided value to our clients and our clients seem to agree by providing us with numerous referrals to family, friends and associates.In addition, the professionals with which we work such as attorneys, accountants, financial planners also refer us on a regular basis.
